VENUE HIRE

The Rock City Art Gallery is available for hire for a wide range of events. Uniquely situated by the Emabnkment and the High Street of  Bedford and surrounded by restaurants. The gallery is the ideal space for exhibitions, events, functions, product launches, performances and meetings.

Gallery hire rates start from £20/hour, please  contact us for further information.

POSTAGE & PACKING 

For international customers due to the risk of damage to the glass and frames and subsequently the print itself we regret we can only despatch Unframed prints.

However all unframed prints are despatched in a hard cardboard tube and internally protected with anti-acid paper and bubble wrap.

Print care instructions included 

For UK customers the price of P&P will be £10 for Unframed prints (Special Delivery)

      Europe  P&P will be £15

      USA P&P will be £25

      other (  Asia , Australia etc ) P&P will be £35 

 and £25 for Framed prints (Courier Delivery)

Posters P&P will be £5 for Special Delivery in a hard cardboard tube

Books  will be £3 and despatched by Royal Mail

ROCK CITY ART DEFINITIVE 

Definitive Edition 100 was created to give fans and collectors a chance to own pictures of their favorite bands, or images associated with them, at fair prices.   

Most Definitive Edition 100 Images are exclusive to Rock City Art

New images are offered at an introductory price, allowing entry-level collectors to begin accumulating what will become a valuable collection.  

As the edition prints sell out prices rise.   

Definitive Edition 100 prints are made on 308gm fine art matt archival papers using archival inks.

Prints are available in various sizes from A3 (297mm x 420mm) (11.7” x 16.5”) up to custom AO (841mm x 1189mm) (33.1” x 46.8”). 

Prints are embossed with the distinctive Rock City Art  logo, numbered from 1-100 and signed by the photographer or authenticated by their estate.

Prices increase as the edition runs out.

ROCK CITY ART PREMIUM 

Premium Edition 100 is exclusive to Rock City Art and these are on instruction of the photographer to be of a more restricted release.

Archival Digital Fine-Art print on Hahnemule paper 

The Hahnemuhle Digital Fine Art  this 308gsm  Photo Rag, is a smooth, bright white, age resistant paper which has a 100% cotton rag content.

The industry gold standard that photographers base professional output on and tends to be the first choice from the point of view of the best photographic look. This is because the paper has an amazing D-max (black) saturation, depth and colour with a very smooth matt surface, the white tone lies between natural and bright white.

ROCK CITY ART EXCLUSIVE  

Exclusive Collection 25 

Silver Gelatin prints / Fibre Prints / Colour C type / Chrome

Hand prints made from an original black and white or colour negative / transparency in the darkroom using an enlarger and chemicals. These are the most valuable to collectors, particularly as this now a historic method of print making, quite often done by the photographer himself or by a an esteemed darkroom specialist, this is now an almost lost art and combined with the fragility of old negatives, mean the prints will be rare and very exclusive. In some cases they are particularly sensitive to dampness in the air and in many cases can be affected by prolonged exposure to sunlight or scratches to the surface and need to be treated with extra care.

PAYMENT

  1. Payment may be made by credit card or debit card via Google checkout.
  2. All our charges are indicated in pounds sterling and will be debited as such. Your credit card company will exchange it into your country’s currency. The exchange rate can fluctuate from day to day and the relevant rate during the time of the transaction will be applied.
  3. We can only accept payment for orders in pounds sterling (£). Should payment received be the result of a conversion of foreign currency and you decide to cancel your order we shall not be responsible for, and shall accept no liability for, the devaluation of funds refunded to you.
  4. Some purchases originating outside Great Britain may be subject to duty at the country of destination. Any such duties are the responsibility of the customer.
  5. Rock City Art is NOT part of the VAT refund scheme, so any prints purchased and collected in the UK are subject to VAT at 20%.

REFUND POLICY

Our photographs are prepared to order and so constitute customized goods which are exempt from the EU Distance Selling Directive.  

However, as Rock City Art is set up on fair principles we will respect the buyer's right to cancel an order without penalty at any time until the photographs have been printed or digital images have been dispatched.  

Also in the unlikely event that the buyer is dissatisfied with the finish of a print in any way we will offer to reprint the photograph or alternatively offer a full refund, provided of course that the original is returned to us within 14 days so we can check what went wrong and make sure it doesn't happen again.
